A bit about the course
The Rosedale Golf Course is a little bit different to most in that it has sand greens rather than the more traditional manicured grass greens.
Throughout Australia, there are currently around 400 courses that have greens comprised of oiled sand or some other similar material, the reason we have chosen to make sand greens is due to the prohibitive cost of maintaining grass greens.
Don't forget that a player is able to smooth the putting surface with a provided smoother/rake prior to putting. Certain conditions apply to the smoothing process and how to mark the ball on the green.
What is the Cost to Play?
There are two options for people that would like to play on the Rosedale Golf Course
Option 1 - Become a Member
Full Membership Fees are $365.00 inc gst per year, this means you can play as often as you like during the year.
Option 2 - Casual Member
The casual green fee is $10.00 inc gst per round, this means you pay each time you would like to play on the course, we have an honesty system and box for you to deposit your green fees.
How many holes?
The course has 11 physical holes, however this does not mean you can't play an 18 hole round... It simply means that you play some holes twice.
Driving Range
We are currently constructing a 350 metre driving range, please check to see updates of the progress.
Can I Hire Equipment?
Currently we do not have equipment available for hire, however some of our future plans include a pro-shop and possible casual equipment hire.
